Payment Terms and Information

PLEASE READ CARFULLY AS USING THIS WEBSITE MEANS YOU AGREE WITH THESE CONDITIONS.

Payment is required within seven (5) business days from invoice date or the items will be returned to stock. None payment of items will affect a customer’s ability to purchase items in the future.

All prices shown on Bongo’s Basement website are GST inclusive. Your invoice provided via email (and included with your shipped item/s if you request it) will show the amount of GST paid.

We accept the following payment methods:-

  • Credit cards through our secure ecommerce Gateway (PayPal).
  • Secure payments via PayPal.
  • Direct Deposit (electronic or counter deposits).
  • Postal Money Orders and Bank Cheques.

Money Orders & Cheques
When paying via Money Order or Bank Cheque please include when posting a copy of your order or a brief note including your Order Number. We do not accept personal and Business Cheques under any circumstances.

Financial Information
Customer's financial information is only collected for billing purposes. Bongo’s Basement does not store entire credit card numbers. Customer's contact information (email) is used only for order confirmation and delivery confirmation (tracking number).
Bongo’s Basement does not share/sell customer's mailing address, email address or any stored information to any 3rd parties.

Security
We treat the information you provide to us as confidential information; it is, accordingly, subject to our company's security procedures and policies regarding protection and use of confidential information. When we ask you for credit card data, you have been transferred over a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) line to our ecommerce Gateway PayPal (Australia) to complete your purchase. (Provided you are using a SSL enabled browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.) PayPal as a leader in providing online purchasing using only the most secure and encrypted technologies. We also use SSL on other pages where you would enter personally identifiable information. This ensures that your information is encrypted as it travels over the internet. This secure mode is enabled before any such information is transmitted from your computer. You will know you are in secure mode when the padlock or key icon in the lower right-hand or left-hand corner of the computer screen appears in the locked position. In addition, when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https."

All information reaching Bongo’s Basement is stored on a secure server that resides behind firewalls designed to block unauthorized access from outside of Bongo’s Basement. Information collected on the Web sites covered by this privacy statement is generally processed and stored in Australia.

 

Returns Policy
General Returns
Under no circumstances do we refund postage costs. All postage costs are charges outside the returns and exchange policy. No returns after 3 days from date of package arrival, unless other arrangements are mutually acceptable. Returned item(s) must reach us in a sellable condition.
Meaning unopened boxes and models in mint condition with all packaging, strapping and fixing screws in place as it was sent to you. If you can't return an item(s) in this condition a refund may be refused. The customer must contact us by email prior to any return at sales@bongosbasement.com.au.

Please note: It's important that you take your time when ordering items as items returned because they were ordered incorrectly or by mistake or "I didn't like it" are subject to a 15% restocking surcharge of the items price. This is to cover postage and processing costs that might not be included in the postage charged at order time.

Incorrect Item Sent
If we send out an incorrect item we will organize a exchange of the item using a free return service. Please email us at sales@bongosbasement.com.au to organize a exchange.

Damaged in Transit
In the incredibly rare event that your merchandise arrives damaged in transit inform your Australia Post service provider and document it as required, keep the original shipping carton and immediately email us so that we arrange a return. Unauthorized damage returns will be held until our costs to return the item to you are paid.


Defective Items
All items sold are new and are shipped in the original manufacturers packaging. Some lower priced items may have incidental imperfection that while not common, do sometimes occur and are sold as is. Customers must provide strong evidence using digital photos to demonstrate how the item is defective or damaged to determine the cause of the issue. This is mandatory and images should be sent to sales@bongosbasement.com.au with written information outlining the fault.

All AutoArt and Kyosho items are shipped new in a factory sealed package or in the unopened factory package and therefore supported by the manufacturers warranty and all returns are to be handled by the manufacturer.

Any claims for items lost during shipping must be taken up with the shipping agent Australia Post.

Please Note: We do inspect all items as closely as possible at time of our delivery and shipping to you to ensure customer satisfaction. All items listed on our website are first quality or US domestic sale quality. These are the highest standard of finish and quality available to the products we sell. We do not under any circumstances deal with seconds or run of factory items.

At Bongo’s Basement we try and provide as much information to you about the products we sell whether by images or descriptive details and all care is taken to ensure this information is accurate and up to date. Although if any errors or omissions occur they are unintentional and if errors are encountered, please contact us so we can update our information.
