This "Winged Warrior" was a perennial front runner owing its strength to a powerful Chrysler Hemi constructed and blueprinted by famed Nichels engine builder Minnie Joyce. Chassis construction was ust as stellar under the skilled hand of Nichels Engineering ccraftsmen Jerry Govert and Jim Delaney.

During the 1970 season, White and Nichels Engineering did what they did best; racing up front with the leaders. When the season's results were fallied, White had raced 19 times winning 4 races, 2 Poles, along with 9 Top-Five finishes and 11 Top-Ten finishes.
