Where are you located?
Bongo’s Basement is an online retailer located in Sydney, Australia.

Do you have a shop that I can visit and view your items?
Bongo’s Basement is an online retailer only and we don’t have a shopfront of showroom to view items. Bongo’s has invested time providing photographs and detailed descriptions of items so customers can make an informed decision on their purchases. Do you sell to customers outside of Australia?
Unfortunately Bongo’s is servicing customers within Australia for the time being; we will look at international sales in 2009. Although if you are outside Australia we will try and direct you to another online retailer. Please email us here.

Can I pickup my order from your warehouse?
Sorry but we don’t have a facility for pickups; all orders are posted via Australia Post.

Can I get a quote for shipping one or multiple items?
You can get a shipping quote whether for a single item or a combined/multiple item order by checking online through our automated checkout or “Shopping Basket” system. To use the Shopping Basket (sometimes referred to as a “Shopping Cart”) please register on the website (top right of page) then add items to your Basket. Your items are automatically added and displayed on screen.

To check the cost of shipping click on “View Basket” (you can add extra quantities of items or delete items here too). Then click “Continue” (lower right of page). If you are logged in you will see your personal details and delivery details and the cost of shipping your item/items. You can also change the postage method here as well to a option available to you.

Please note that our Shopping Basket system is limited to shipping single orders which to a total shipping weight of 22kgs. If you are ordering large quantities and experience a problem please email us here.


What payment method do you have available?
Bongo’s Basement accepts PayPal, Direct Deposits, Money Orders and Credit Cards. (Credit Card payments are processed through our PayPal merchant service.)

I can’t find an item I’m looking for can you get it?
Bongo’s can source almost all current items available and we will do our best to locate hard to get items. Please email us here.


I can’t find any Australian cars on your site; do you sell them?
Unfortunately as an online retailer we are not able to source models of Australian vehicles due to distributors requiring shops or showrooms for wholesale purchases.

Do your models come with a Certificate of Authenticity or COA?
Virtually all our models do not come with a COA. While some manufacturers do include or promote COA’s they are merely a marketing initiative. Possibly 10-20years ago COA may have been a useful method of ensuring a honest transaction but with a colour printer in nearly every home or workplace and with today’s scanning technology they are meaningless.

To ensure you are getting what you are paying for, please read the description carefully and check the photos it’s the best way. Also please be assured we source nearly all our stock from the US from Wholesalers and Distributors with decades of experience in the industry. (Other items are sources from reputable local suppliers.)

Can I email you my order items and Credit Card details to place an order?
Unfortunately no; all orders need to be processed through our automated checkout or “Shopping Basket” system.

Once you have selected the payment method you will continue to either the "Order Summary" page for Direct Deposits and Money Orders which can be printed or to the PayPal payment processing page.
